In order to promote social equality, abolish religious and caste segregation, hundreds of marriages are done irrespective of caste and faith by opposing traditional customs of marriage.
We strongly advocate that marriages are between two individuals. Taking forward Periyar E V Ramasamy’s Self-Respect movement and Dr. B. R. Ambedkar’s ideas of Caste abolishment, Charavaka Asramam became a venue for hundreds of inter caste & inter faith marriages.
